The seed, a starting point – An online blog about all things spiritual
I have to begin with the seed of life, how the superior doctor first heals the spirit, what’s nourishing soul food & where we can go for retreat & play. With the sun in grounded Taurus we opt to create something tangible, sensual & beautiful in this world.
OM – the seed
I was recently asked what the OM symbol means, by a lady wearing a necklace displaying the symbol, without knowledge of why. I said ‘OM’ is the seed, initially the seed sound, the first sound made in the universe. Like an atom or a single cell containing all that is, the merging of two particles of energy, the yin, the yang, enough tension & activity to create. And so it is that OM is the beginning & the all that is. Before OM there was emptiness, the void, nothing, unlimited potential. Chanting OM or Aum (AAAA-ooooo-mmmmm) takes us back to the source, the fundamental of all creation where all things are possible, where everything & nothing co-exists together. Send the sound OM to any part of your body that needs healing & watch the magic!

I have googled & searched & would appreciate any feedback on who said this but to me it says it all. The pure fact that we are here is the OM, it is the SEED, it is the starting place, it is the journey. What is the point of healing or living if you don’t want to be here? Simply being on this planet we have chosen to have an earthly experience, to act otherwise is to take the valuable space of another spiritual being. Our responsibility or commitment from there is to follow our heart, search for truth, fall down, get back up & continue to move in constant progression. We must feel some kind of passion, even an inkling or spark to inspire the heart for without the heart we are lost.
Find an activity, a person, an adventure anything to inspire you.
