January heralds a number of transits to powerful Pluto & squares to the moon which invariably indicates a continuation of the emotional tension & “tug-of-war” of forward backward movement for us earthlings as we leave the density of old earth to rise & ascend into a higher, lighter dimension.

Pluto’s recent full transit into Aquarius introduces massive innovative leaps for humanity including scientific discoveries, advances in technology & medical breakthroughs while ushering in social reforms & new leadership models in all political & economical realms. Buckle up, we are living at a momentous time here on Gaia!

Mid-month brings a major collective shift with the progression of the nodal axis from the egoic individuality of self & compromise with other in the aries/libra axis to the service & healing of the pisces/virgo nodal experience. This is huge for humanity as we must find the wherewithal & innovation to provide care & compassionate service for the health, healing & wellbeing of all humans & living beings in our world population. Especially in the aftermath & resultant of the prolific widespread suffering of those individuals in countries & regions affected by not only war & warfare but natural disaster, loss of environmental habitat & the ravishing of disease. We must learn to love & respect Mother Earth to enable the provision of bounty required to feed, clothe, house & heal not only us humans but our wildlife, flora & fauna with the cleanliness of water & water sources being a major priority.

3rd – venus entering pisces ♓️ spreads a gentle vibe of kindness, softness, compassion & patience … so necessary to counterbalance the ruthless aggression & power struggle synonymous with the second hit of mars directly opposing Pluto (a third time in April ‘25)

6th – mars retrogrades into cancer ♋️ time to reflect & release the aggravations arising from outdated family dynamics, old patterns, programmes & behaviours

8th – mercury moves into capricorn ♑️ encouraging greater stability especially in response to our work, skills, talents & abilities, maybe time to investigate further training options to learn, reclaim or update a skill set

12th – north node enters pisces bringing big shifts & new learning for the collective especially in response to the concepts of our emotions, creativity, spirituality, compassion, faith & flow … especially within the realms of service, healing & the larger consciousness of the human & galactic collective on & off the planet! … it remains here until july 2026

14th – 🌕 full moon at 24° cancer at 7.28am

A gentle, tender & receptive moon that assists us to connect to the softer qualities of our divine feminine for self-nurturing & loving self-care (including self-forgiveness). This moon reminds us of the intrinsic relationship we all have with the wholeness of creation … mother, woman, the womb as security, safety & nourishment. If feeling encumbered or hemmed in (think of the crab’s tough exterior shell) it will be important to surrender, to yield & follow your soul’s intuitive lead to birth new life, new ideas, concepts, plans & dreams … then to make supportive, pro-active choices!
