Summer Solstice – gateway to new life

December 19, 2012

sungatedandiSummer Solstice – Friday 21st December 2012

It’s the end of the world as we know it … or the end of the Mayan Calender, incorrectly interpreted as the end of the physical earth but really a period of shifting consciousness, greater truth & awareness for all beings. Astrologically, the sun rules our physical body, our location, our inspiration & our personal identity. It corresponds to the all empowering solar plexus, who encourages us to stand our ground & state I AM. This is the time to celebrate the fruits of your labours & what you have achieved through the year. How have you been digesting life … is it all you wish for, what changes do you need to create to make it better, more fulfilling?

Expect big shifts this solstice as we align ourselves to where we are meant to be, the space and or place where new lessons can be learnt, new challenges await, motivation for new experiences to embrace as we continue to evolve, progress, grow & change.

The Solstice marks the longest day of the year, the shortest night, and a celebration of the honourable, venerable, optimistic sun in standstill. Solar light brings power for action, power to break through the shell for the tiny seed to soak in the courage to reach towards the sun. This is a time of abundance & purification by fire – surrender & release what you no longer need, stay open to receive all that is yours & give gratitude for it.

Celebrate the sun’s gift of warmth, light & life.
