Chakras

Chakras are centers of energy or energy stores within the light body of the physical. They contain information, patterns & programming of our soul memory. Chakras transmit & receive energy, they spin, expand & contract in response to the breathe, or intake of ‘prana’,  colour & light. We are currently working with 7 chakras but ancient drawings in texts show many many more. There are also smaller chakras called ‘nadis’ located predominantly around the hands & feet. As we raise our vibration through evolution & spiritual practice we reach higher & higher levels of awareness to attain even greater levels of consciousness.

1^st Base – Mulahadra – colour red          

Divine will, seat of kundalini, security, stability, support

2^nd Swadhisthana –  colour orange                 

Divine transformation, sexuality, emotions, seat of joy

3^rd Solar plexus – Manipura – colour gold                

I am – Divine Being, power, digestion of life

4^th Heart Chakra – Anahata – colour pink & green                   

Divine harmony, love, family, relationships 

 5^th Throat – Vishuddhi – colour blue                  

Divine faith, truth & purification, expression, communication

6^th Third eye center – Ajna – colour indigo            

Divine Vision & devotion, clairvoyance, clarity, inner teaching

7^th Crown chakra – Sahasrara – colour pearlescent white   

Higher consciousness, knowledge, truth & wisdom         

Chakra Years – What year is this?

Each year we pass through & live in the energy of one of the 7 chakras. The focus of our life has much to do with healing, growing & changing in response to the energy of the corresponding chakra year. A complete cycle takes 7years. As each cycle goes on we are spiraling upward & inward on our evolutionary journey. At 47yrs, I am working with the energy of my 5^th or throat chakra, pertaining to truth, faith, purification & communication !
